VSO not downloading BBC local radio programmes

doesn't work for me either, only records local BBC stations as a live stream, wont do it as a download like the main BBC stations, ie Radio 2 will, shame

I have detected and downloaded the audio file without problem. To make things clear: is it downloading/recording or not at all?

Dave, it's in recording mode because the host server doesn't provide with the file duration. VSO Downloader will switch to that mode each time such data is not provided.

Yes it plays perfectly fine. It's just a shame that I have to leave it playing in real time rather than just quickly download it. I wish I'd know about this before buying it.

Call BBC and ask them to change their policies.
If they are not giving full file there is no way to download it faster, only what they are feeding.

Thanks for the help guys, least we know why it doesn't do it know, have managed to find another program that does do it Neil B, called "get iplayer", downloads local BBC stations without having to listen to the show in real time.
