Wen i dwn load it comes up as Live recording

when I dwn load it comes up as a live recording slow to dwn load or slower than normal ! the other day I had a lot to down load slected clips top dwn load came back and said there was a error ! now says ( live recording ) and only downloads in different format now I think doesn't down load like before ! help needed ! it down loads adverts in ( downloading ) but not the clips I want live records them !

Please provide us with the URL of the video.
Note that live recording isn't a bug of the downloader. It will switch to that mode depending on the host response and the protocol used to encrypt the streams.

I've been noticing it happening with Youtube videos. I think its a bug in this case since it was able to download them when it was at an earlier version.

Youtube is changing videos to encrypted and new protocol, that is why this is happening now.
Try that same file with old version to be sure.

I have also been having the same problem showing a live stream download.
Im using 3.1.9.50 Windows 7 64bit
It happens on multiple videos. Here is one for example:
mmmm my account wont let me givfe you a link!!

I had other problems with audio on an older version, so can't try that!!
A little frustrated as I have only just bought this software.

3.1.0.50 is the latest version.
If you still have a problem with the live recording, reset your settings to default you have a button to do that in the options.
If you have a problem with a specific site please provide the url.

Hi, Guys
I too was having that problem and happened all of a sudden even with a site that does not encrypt their video streaming everything that was trying to download using the VSO downloader all were now coming up as live recording.

This may help as it worked for me under the detection settings for secure streaming I used the reset to default all that appeared to happen was to delete one of the host addresses from the list.

I had not added any host addresses the list in the window but the one that was below the <SHOUTCAST> disappeared from the list when it was reset to default.

Once I selected the reset to default the program worked as before.
