youtube video capture results into two mp4 with separate vid

i use version3118.

Some videos on Youtube get a split video an sound file. One stream with only video and one with only sound.

Why are these files not 'muxed'into one file with video+sound ?

I tried top one of those and got two identical mp4-files that were unplayable.

Sometimes i also get unplayable files.

I just tried to go back a few versions of vso downloader but that gave the same results.

Maybe youtube has changed something ?

I tested both links with version 3.1.1.9 (current version, released 2 days ago)
I have no problem getting the video with sound.

there is a known issue with Youtube , in some instances, if you watch the video first, then decide you want to doanwload it by launching the downloader and playint the video again, you will have a video without sound , or just the sound, or an unwatchable result. if this is your case, please clean the cache of your browser and start again. it's best, with Youtube, to download while you watch the video...

Greetings, everyone. My situation is somewhat similar but more weird: started with 3.1.1.1 in October (Vista and Firefox), YT video had to be re-open after VSO and live recording got needed resolution smoothly (except actual clip name). Absolutely nothing was changed on PC as on November 4th VSO became "buggy" on startup, grid wasn't displaying immediate changes like ongoing downloads (although notification balloon did and downloads were fine upon completion). Re-installment gave me the following: no design bugs but three, separate YT files turning *.ext into *.mp4 upon completion. Biggest - DASH video, medium - LQ DASH video, small - DASH audio. Two of those are unmerged stream over IP sent by YT, which can't be played unless manually stapled together. Real hassle to assemble multiple files this way. Size of the file is known and live recording doesn't happen anymore. Chrome, several previous VSO versions, play around with settings gave no change.
Dailymotion - older content is downloaded in one piece but VEVO account there doesn't get video detection, VEVO - detected fine (although their content isn't HD), Vimeo - HD downloads work, several others - working.
I know for a fact that YT didn't change 1080p video and audio PIDs, detectable and downloadable with other app (manual). Should we hope for update from VSO?

Version 3119 only downloads about 2 or 3mb and then stops.
No videos get recorded in full.
Tested on youtube.
