Capturing trough proxy

Live recording of a YT file has never worked trough a proxy and doesn't work in 3.11.10. Banner keeps indicating a process without actual download started, fails after a while.

can you provide your proxy settings and the URL to reproduce the issue?

I use several HTTP proxy's by manually entering IP:port into Firefox. Doesn't matter what kind of streaming content is accessed. Opera - same results.
Got no problem viewing, downloading trough other applications while connected trough proxy.

no problem on my side, I used a proxy from this list:
http://hidemyass.com/proxy-list/

then click in VSO Downloader on help > get help > detect my 1 st video.

Can you give us more information.
