This latest version 1.1.0.24, is causing an error when converting. If I choose to delete the partialy conveted file all the folder contents will be deleted. So if I save on the desktop anyting on the desktop will also be deleted.
No problem with version 1.1.0.23.

Sorry, but I will not include 50 Fps (interlaced) frame rate choice because we produce progressive videos only.

If I understand, you want the ability to select "remux video" and "remux audio" when selecting mts container in video profile editor?
If yes, I will need to add some additional checks in case of input file use a codec not supported by mts container (like VP8, Xvid...)

Thanks for your reply.
I have MTS movie clips taken with my Canon Legria HF R406. It would be nice if I can join them using the converter. This would save me using another application. At the moment I am using Aunsoft Final Mate to do the job. This joins the clips into one MTS movie without re-encodeing, thus leaving the same movie properties and doing a very fast job.

While the quality is very good and the joining is perfect. However it appears that the clips have been re encoded and the time taken has been considarable.

They have clearly been re-encoded. Original is FullHD while join is 1024*768.

For your information, remux can be used only if all merged files have same properties (resolution, codec...)
Maybe all your merged .mts files doesn't match this requirement?

Ok I checked your custom profile but... I think you missed something

You need to select the "Copied if possible, otherwize encode" item as video/audio codec.
In your custom profile you selected H264, that's why the file is reencoded.

I thought you wanted to remux some merged MTS files into only one MTS, why do you selected MKV as container?
I uploaded a screenshot to show you how your custom profile need to be filled.

OK Cedric. I missed the setting for the video codec and container. It is now working like a charm.
May I sugest to put just one setting for video, audio and subtitles, if it is not a big job.
Also, you need to check the title text. See picture.
