3.1.2.6 not recording some youtube vids
Got latest update (3.1.2.6) and tried to record some youtube vids. I tried 3 different vids and VSO Downloader didn't even show them. I downgraded to version 3.1.1.13 and it showed and recorded those same 3 vids just fine.

I remember awhile back youtube did something to a lot of their vids where VSO Downloader could no longer download them. Then I believe the first version of VSO Downloader that could download them was 3.1.0.50. I think all the versions after could still download them until the latest 3.1.2.6.

Re: 3.1.2.6 not recording some youtube vids
for me they all seem to be detected with 3.1.2.6.
The 1st one downloads completely. The other two are a little long but seems to be no problem.

Re: 3.1.2.6 not recording some youtube vids
did you try with the previous driver: options > network adapter > Select Winpcap
Re: 3.1.2.6 not recording some youtube vids
No I didn't try the Wincap driver. I was using the eve driver.
I have another question about those 3 vids. When it downloads them, it downloads them all twice. I've seen this behavior with a lot of other vids as well.

Re: 3.1.2.6 not recording some youtube vids
When the download happens twice have you checked the difference in them to see if it is simply the video available in different resolutions?
Re: 3.1.2.6 not recording some youtube vids
I didn't actually check that but they are always the same size. You didn't get double downloads on all those vids from the links I posted? I got double downloads on all of them.
Also you asked me to try the pcap driver in the latest version? Is that the driver you used to successfully download those vids? Did it also work for you using the eve driver?

Re: 3.1.2.6 not recording some youtube vids
clean the cache of your browser then try with the other driver
Re: 3.1.2.6 not recording some youtube vids
I was successful with EVE and yes I did have duplicate downloads for at least one of the links.
Re: 3.1.2.6 not recording some youtube vids
So what is causing the duplicate downloads? It's been doing this for quite some time.

Re: 3.1.2.6 not recording some youtube vids
to test again.
Attempt A
I opened VSO Downloader with eve driver
I clicked these two links your provided
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztk1V4ut ... re=related
and I got several files that were downloaded (I didn't really look into see what was downloaded, but I definitely did not expect to get so many).
Attempt B
The developer said to me, let's start over.
VSO Downloader he had me stop the driver detection and start it over again.
He had me clear my browserzs cache. (Chrome)
I clicked these two links your provided
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztk1V4ut ... re=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U09N7LOyOq0
and each one downloaded just once (much cleaner than attempt A)
and if you do this?

Re: 3.1.2.6 not recording some youtube vids
Did all that and still I get duplicates downloads on all three of those links. I also tried re-installing 3.1.2.6 again and that version still doesn't detect those vids at all. Went back to 3.1.1.13. Another weird thing I just noticed is that I can't get VSO Downloader to even detect vids in IE 11 at all.
