Hi,
i have a strange problem:
1 have a 35GB Movie with Blu ray structure in a folder on my HDD and i'm not able to shrink to the right size for DVD.
I tried 2-pass encoding, best Video quality, and the LANCZOS filter.
Project shows "Estimated converted size (maximum): 6477,4MB, User target size: DVD-9 (7700MB)" (for DVD-5 maximum is a bit over 4000MB)
The final target is not larger than 2.5 - 2.7 GB even when set to DVD9.
I'm using Blu ray Converter Ultimate 3.0.0.20 and updated to 3.1.0.30 and the DVD PAL 16/9 templates on Win 8.1 64bit.
I disabled the bonuses and redundant languages after importing the folder
Regards,
Targetsize to small ?

If you use only 3-4 episodes that are 42 minutes then you can use medium or short project.23:12:35.259 Info Encoding options: Long Project

Hello HarryHirsch,
Since you have the original source, the Blu-Ray in your case, try using Short Project. Don't judge by the size of the outcome. The program uses the best encoding settings 90%+ of the time.
If you want even better quality, try using 2 pass, best video quality, and Lanczos if you want. See if helps.

Re: Targetsize to small ?
Hi all,
thx for the answers.
Can you tell me how to change between long, medium and short projects?
I tried the GUI search, but had no luck finding it.

Re: Targetsize to small ?
This is not an option in Blu-ray Converter (but a setting in ConvertXtoDVD)
