Hi,
I am trying to play a DVD on Windows 8 through VSO. I have set the program to auto-play DVD's when I put them in the drive. VSO pops up when I insert a DVD, and presents me with a loading bar to start the DVD. It then says 'Read Error' and 'Error while looking for features' before giving me a page that says 'no media can be found, please make sure the files are compatible and not corrupt' and lists 2 'Video TS' files. I have tried various discs and all show this message, but the discs work fine or a different laptop. What could be the problem?
Problems with DVD playback.

Re: Problems with DVD playback.
If the disks are commercial DVDs or Blu-rays they are often protected in which case to load and be played properly with VSO Media Player you need a decryptor to be running in the background.
