Conversion errors can't complete and what settings?

Ok I'm trying to convert the new Transformers movie in H264 format to AVCHD 1080p format and I'm getting to about 4% and then it fails. I'm getting the message "Access violation at address 007E67D2 in module vsoVideoConverter.exe. Read of address 00000000."
What the heck is going on? Every time I click to close the error it keeps popping up after like 1 second.
I'm am trying to make a Blu-Ray out of this and I heard you should set it to AVCHD1080p for best compatibility. I also used the hardware decoders but after the first error it told me not to use that and I did but it didn't make a difference. I also set the target at 25G and the program said the estimate was around 11G.
If I'm making a Blu Ray and don't want loss of quality what should me settings be? I can't seem to find any threads or guides as to what I should be having my settings at.
Can anybody help me with these problems?

Hi carnage, you'll probably need to post the log file. Do you know how to obtain it?

No I don't.

No problem... To get a log/crash file, go to: "Help/Tools" -> "Show Log Events" -> "Open log folder..."

Once the folder is open, close VSO. This will allow you to copy the file if VSO is still attached to it.

Find the log that corresponds to the crash and post it as an attachment. You may need to duplicate the problem again to get a 'clean' log.

That should work, but the top portion of the log isn't there...are you using the latest version? If not, you can get it here and try again and see if it works: http://forums.vso-software.fr/latest-beta-t18294.html

Otherwise, Claire or Cedric will take a look at it when they can...probably Monday.

Not sure what other information you need. I just copied and pasted. It is the latest version. Also tried converting Edge of Tomorrow MKV 1080p and it fails right away. What am I doing wrong here? Both things I tried failed. I love VSO products but I can't see why other people have no problems and everything I try to convert has problems.
