Hi All,
I am hoping for some advice. I have a custom profile set from MKV TO MKV just to embed subtitles into the video. Everything is set to use same as source where applicable. The issue I have is that the video is compressing and I cannot understand why. I start with 4.36GB File and end up with a 2.7GB File. What am I missing
All I want to do is embed the subtitle to the video and keep the original Audio and frame rate etc. of the existing MKV. What are the best settings to use for this procedure.
I thank you all in anticipation

Make custom profile with settings that simply copy the stream.

I have done this but it still seams to compress the video

If you are trying to convert to format that does not support original stream format then it has to be processed.
Check that your settings are correct; no change on container, audio, or video formats.
Are you trying to hardcode subtitles? That requires processing video.
