Hi there. I am loving the latest versions of this program but am having a little problem. All the processing, burning etc.. seems to go extremely well but when I play the resulting BluRay the chapter skip doesn't seem to work with the video. The image freezes but the sound continues as if the chapter skip is fine. Most peculiar. Also, menu screens seem to load and then the disc jumps and reloads the menu screen again. This happens with EVERY menu screen. This has happened with EVERY disc I have burned, both 25Gb and 50Gb, single movies and multiple movies. As I say, most peculiar.
Many thanks for the excellent program thus far however.
A very happy New Year to all the team :)

I am sorry. It seemed that the video was actually 1920x1080p, so that the black bars were part of it and hadn't been added by the media player. So ConvertXtoHD didn't know where to pan and scan... I guess i have to resize to 1920x800 to get rid of them. Thanks anyway. I am posting the solution so that users with the same problem might be helped.

Handbrake detects the black bars automatically, even in that case (the video is 16:9 AND with black bars). Why your software doesn't? And why there isn't a manual pan and scan option? If I select manual pan and scan, I cannot change the values. The only thing I can do manually is stretch.

Hello,

Can everyone please post the log of their conversion. It provides very useful information to the members who can help as well as to the devs who write/edit the software.

Thanks for reading,
Neil M

Big mistiming between audio and video when encoding from 29.97 to 23.98. And video plays very slowly.

Your inital reported problem should be fixed for the next version, but I can see that you always get the "H.264 preset superfast not found"!
I don't know why you get this warning, I will try to change the source code to handle this problem for the next version too...

Thank you for providing the log file.

The new fps options are a good idea. Black borders still not detected. And something else about the subtitles: the recommended font size is very small. If i select
a new font size the program automatically breaks the texts, even in the case that the subtitle actually fits the screen without breaking. There should be a subtitle auto-breaking disable option I think. The user should be responsible if the text is out of screen.

Glitches when converting 25GB mkv to fit in a Single Layer BD-R. The output is 22.6GB and "jumpy".
