BBC iPlayer HD stream

Most shows on the BBC iPlayer website offer HD and SD streaming options. To date, the VSO Downloader has worked well with both. In the past few days, however, the downloader has detected the FLV HD stream every time, but when I right click and start downloading, after a few seconds I get 'Download Error'. I suspect the BBC might have changed something, because the actual HD stream playback on the iPlayer site also fails, and that has nothing to do with VSO Downloader. NB The SD download continues to work well. I have seen no complaints on the BBC iPlayer help pages and forums about a problem with HD. Any chance the VSO Downloader will be able to overcome this? (Notes: I am not in the UK, but using iPlayer via a proxy. I have tried both the latest version of the VSO Downloader and version 3.)

NB to access the BBC iPlayer you must either be in the UK or be using a UK proxy. For example, http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... -episode-4 (or almost any other show accessed via http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer). First choose 'Watch in HD' on the right, then click the play button. Until recently, at this point the show would begin playing and the VSO Downloader would pick up the stream and download it. Now, the iPlayer says 'This content doesn't seem to be working'. The Downloader detects the stream, but when it attempts to download, after a few seconds there's a red 'Download error'.

PS Sorry, forgot to add that if you repeat the process, but select the 'Watch in SD' option, everything works fine.
