Feature request : can download link goo.gl

Hi,

I have just downloaded a file (movie) from this link :

http://goo.gl/SrRqX3

When I click this link,Internet Download Manager can automatically detect the file but VSO Downloader can't (I use both Internet Download Manager and VSO Downloader because each software has its own strengths).I think the reason is VSO Downloader do not support downloading from "goo.gl" link type yet.I often download movie which has this link type.So can you help me to supplement this ability to VSO Downloader ?

That link is sending RAR packed file. It is not sending a movie or a stream.
goo.gl is not a website that is sending anything, it is URL shortener.
Real URL where this file comes is archive.org.
Inside that RAR is mkv file which can be played fine.

Problem here is that this is NOT audio or video stream, it is data file. All you need to do is to save it, and then unpack it to play it.
Maybe VSO adds option to save any format of file that is sent - we will see.

Rar files are not downloaded by default but you can check this format to be supported in the 'detection' of the settings under "filters". The file will be downloaded by your browser too but also VSO Downloader.

Let me know if this is a good solution for you.

Clicking on that link starts immediately download of that RAR file.
VSO Downloader is not "taking" it - most likely because that file is already downloading.
There is no need for VSO Downloader to get it, it would only be double of same file.

I think this is a bug as it should, or there is something else I do not understand.

With other rar files the downloader is picking them up....
