renewals last 1 year, so that means you can download new versions until the same date the next year. If you renewed in November 2014 then you can download new versions until November 2015

Hello welshdog,

It seems you're confusing ConvertXtoDVD and ConvertXtoVideo softwares?
ConvertXtoVideo (called VSO Video Converter before) is another different program than ConvertXtoDVD...

ConvertXtoDVD forum section is here:

After conversion burn engine does not complete. I have to start windows task manager to stop program and then shut down computer and restart to eject disc.

I installed v.30b and did a blu-ray project with five mkv video files and selected BD50 (46000MB) as my BD target size. The software indicated a 96.5% video quality at 41.7 GB. After the lengthy conversion process and burning, I found the project was only 21.5GB and would have fit on a single layer blu-ray instead of the double layer. In conclusion, the software is showing the correct potential converted size but is not honoring the BD Target Size of BD-50 when constructing the project.

Many thanks for all your efforts to improve and correct the software,

Tony

Hi

Thanks for your report. Can you say what conversion profile you are using and eventually post your log file?

Hello scorpion90,

I checked your log file, and it seems that your output target size value for Blu-ray/AVCHD is set to BD-25?
There's an output target size setting for each output type (single file, DVD Video and Blu-ray/AVCHD outputs).

Are you sure that you selected BD-50 for Blu-ray/AVCHD output target size?
"General settings" -> "Blu-ray/AVCHD output" -> "BD target size"

Hi Claire,

Yes, I am sure that I set the output file size to BD-50. The main program screen even verified that I had selected BD-50 as it indicated an output size of 41.7GB with a 95.9% Video Quality.
If you look at the log file, it indicates;
00:47:16.167 Info Output target size : BD-50 (46000 MB) => (Unless this is referring to the optical disk in the recorder?)

Many thanks,

I have installed v.31 and am trans coding the same 5 file project as before. I see already from the log that the audio is not being recoded to dolby digital (from dts) as set in the preferences. I will report if the project size comes out as indicated (43.8GB) when selecting BD-50 as output.

The project completed in about 8 hours with the following results;

Pro:
My graphics card GTX970 was utilized at 99%.

Cons:
Estimated size of 43.8GB was underestimated as actual output size was 46.6GB which DID NOT fit on my Blu-ray DL disk!! I had no way of reducing transcoding size using Blu-ray 1080p preset.
Audio conversion from DTS to DD was not honored.

Please see attached pictures and log file for project details.

Did you enter a custom target size? It seems so.
3:23:17.034 Info Target size: 44.9 Gb.

The default value in the application is 46 000 MB
The software should still have converted to be under what ever value is inserted for the target size - so this is bug.
Are you inserting a BD 25 or BD 50 disk to be burned?

Why do you say conversion to DTS not honored? The audio files were just copied not converted
3:23:17.556 ------------ +--> [audio #2 - RAW copy]
+-[audio [eng] dts main audio 6 Ch., 48000 Hz, 1536 Kbps]
so they are dts in original and in output...

I think if the audio streams were converted you would not have the problem of not meeting the target size settings. However it seems you want the original dts streams.

Are you using a custom profile?

No, I did not use a custom size but chose BD-50 as my output size as can be seen on the selection screen image above. As you can see on the main screen the estimated output size is 43.8GB

I used the Blu-ray 1080P preset for my conversion as noted on the main screen, not a custom profile.

As for the audio, if you look at the audio screen, you will see I have checked the conversion from DTS to DD (AC3).

I Inserted a BD 50 disk to be burnt.

Per your request, attached are the mediainfo files for the CXV m2ts files.

I am still having problems with the burn engine once it finalizes. I can't eject the disc without first closing the program using task manager.

@Sniper

You can try ripping the disk to your harddrive first with AnyDVD or try and find out what is turning off AnyDVD.

Sie können versuchen, erste Rippen der Festplatte auf die Festplatte mit AnyDVD
oder versuchen, herauszufinden, was das Ausschalten AnyDVD.

Installed v.35 and tried my project to create a bluray 1080p as my previous posts. This version still does not honor the settings to convert dts to ac3 no matter what audio conversion options I choose. The log file continues to show a raw copy of the dts audio which results in a larger project size output than shown on the main screen.

Thanks,
