Log reports De-Interlacing on every encode

So on every encode I do, the log file says

- DeInterlace filter: FFmpeg

I am encoding Progressive clips so why is it de-interlacing them all the time, I thought this would degrade the quality if the movie wasnt interlaced ?

Can you add an option to manually turn OFF the De-Interlacing pleaase ?

Hello cribber,

I maybe should change this line to : DeInterlace filter (if needed): FFmpeg
Because the de-interlace filter is only applied for interlaced input.
