Guy's, This is my first time on your fourm so bear with me. I have a dvd of a program I would like to edit out the commercials. My thinking is if I convert the dvd to an mp4 file, then load the file in a video editor, cut out what I don't want, and burn a dvd with the modified file, I should be good...no?
I did look at some posts, but didn't quite get the info I need...like a step by step procedure.
Appreciate any direction and/or help!
Thanks, dondd
You can load the DVD as is in our software click on the link to open the Advanced editor, click on the video stream in the time line in the lower portion of the window and then select the tab in the upper left with scissors and now edit to remove the commercials. Save the changes and close this window, back on the main interface select the profile you want to convert to (mp4) and press convert.
Claire, Thanks for the response. I forgot to mention, my version of ConvertX is 4.19, and it looks different than the guide you linked. Can my version do a DVD to MP4 conversion? Appreciate your guidance!! Thanks! Don
No big deal, but that is why I linked the guide of our product ConvertXtoVideo and that is why it looks so different to you .... not the same product at all.
As for converting to mp4, you cannot do that with ConvertXtoDVD (no matter what version). ConvertXtoDVD converts to DVD.
