Another Bug in v2.0.0.53: crashing while conv. > 5 files
Hi

Quite annoying.

if you select a conversion profile such as avi (h264 +ac3) do you get this problem?
what if you set hardware decoding to 0?

No, if I select f.e. avi oder mkv, I don't get the problem.
Problem only appears while converting into BluRay (720p/1080p), even if I try custom profile with hardcoded subtitles f.ex.
what if you set hardware decoding to 0?
Yes, problem remains, it doesn't matter whether I set hardware decoding to 8 or 0; even if I reduce bitrate to 10'000'000, problem remains.
So, since v2.0.0.47, converting multiple video hd files into BluRay is not stable and converting 5 or more video hd files at the same time software is mostly crashing right at the beginning.

Ok thanks for this info
please send me your custom profile, maybe with it I will be able to reproduce.
you will find it here C:\ProgramData\VSO\ConvertXtoVideo Ultimate\2\custom_profiles

You got private message, Claire.
Bye the way, every time I'm starting v.2.0.0.53 there comes up a message window that I should update to v2.0.0.53. But actually I'm using this latest beta version.
Strange...

Re: Another Bug in v2.0.0.53: crashing while conv. > 5 files
I can only reproduce when cuda is set to 5 instances (because I don't think it accepts greater than 4) and when I use software encoding, I do not have this problem. I also tested in version 4.0.0.47
Re: Another Bug in v2.0.0.53: crashing while conv. > 5 files
Up to v2.0.0.47 it is possible with my graphic card to convert up to 8 instances (cuda) at the same time. Right before I tried it out to convert 12 hd video files at the same time. Cuda was set to 8 instances, so there were first converted the first 8 files simultaneously, after that the remaining 4 files. It took me with version 2.0.0.47 only 75 min to convert the 12 hd files into bluray 720p.
Newer versions don't allow any more to convert so many files simultaneously. Software always crashes while trying to convert more than 5 hd video files. So, as for me, newer versions are not stable. I simply don't know why, but there must be a bug that «attacks» amount of instances to convert into bluray.
