Thank you Coral! I appreciate all your help. And don't worry, it's just a tip for you to consider, so take all the time you needCoral wrote:OK. I know what you mean. You are using the imagewall template.
I'm sorry to have put you to all the trouble. I'm afraid that at the moment it can't be done.
I shall bring this to the attenton of the sofware designer.

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - beta version 7.0.0.24
Just downloaded this new Version.
Using the Series (TV Episodes), I attempted to change the text on the Main Menu from Bonus to Special Features. When
I saved the project and reopened it, the text reverted back to Bonus.
Note: Same thing happens on the Modern Template. I assume that this happens for all
the Series Templates.
Also, when I attempted to "blank out"/remove the project name from the top of the Main Menu,
it keeps coming back.
Thanks.....

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - beta version 7.0.0.24
Activation Of The Log Window Bug.
To reproduce:
Make sure the tick next to Windows > Log in the drop down menu is not there.
Open the Template Editor.
Close (X) again the Template Editor.
This should cause the Log window to open at the bottom of the window.
This would happen each time a new entry is added to the log file.
A clean installation did not help.

Hi VSO
Ok, here we go...I've been holding off on some projects waiting for this to go beta testing, time to get going.
Just a quick couple questions:
Can V7 be installed alongside V6 without conflict (that you know about)?
Have there been changes to the encode or burn engines?
Does V7 still convert to MPEG2?
Any changes to the filters?
Thanks Team VSO, looking forward to getting to know this new major version release!
Here's to NOT making too many coasters, I already have enough. I now use them as mini-frisbees for the neighbours dogs...they LOVE them!
Dave
Edit - Registration of new major version was seamless this time, great start!

Better hurry, some of the sheep are starting to get restless, they're already starting to peel the tiles off the floor in the corner...I don't know if I can stop from ripping the curtains down.

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - beta version 7.0.0.24
Back to seriousness here
We have some layout issues that need to be fixed in the Cinema template
As you can see, there is very little room at the top for any title text above the Cinema screen, it's very cramped up there. While below, there is tons of room for the people to sit...too much really, since we don't have any people! I know we can move and resize the frames as required but we shouldn't have to do this every time we use the theme, that should be reserved for those few times we need something different from the norm, so the screen should be more centered as the default position instead of up high.
Again, the default position of the title text box overlaps the screen's top edge. We fixed this in V6 and if we can get the cinema screen dropped down some, to allow for larger title text, this should get fixed with that.
So far, I like the customization options, this release really seems to focus on Menu customizations.
As usual, Thanks! We appreciate your constant striving for improvement, still the best I've ever seen for this and still the fastest at getting fixes out!

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - beta version 7.0.0.24
Next problem - Cinema template still
When I edited the time for the Main Menu background video to start at 34 seconds from the default 2:00 minutes, the video changed properly but the audio was still pulled from the 2 minute mark on for 30 seconds. This had to be done manually instead of the audio automatically reset to the new video start time.

Hi Dave,
Regarding your post starting with the first line "Back to seriousness here". I can't see anyting wrong with the title text.
I don't consider it a fault when it is superimposed on the title picture. You can always play about with the text and title picture size settings.

Hi,jramos95 wrote:Testing...
Edit: Template Editor is great as I expected, now, if I could be able to:
1. Set a different background for each page in a same tittleset
2. Edit size and position of buttons, text, etc... in a specific way (changing values, for example)
It would be GREAT!
Thank you for the feedback.
1. I'm sorry but at the moment what you ask for is not possible. All sibling pages share the same background, for example:
- All title pages have the same background.
- All chapter pages of a given titleset share the same background.
2. Most people prefer to drag to position and resize items. Some tips I will be adding to the info window. Edit: Most of the tips are already present:
- You can multiselect by pressing the control key while clicking on items.
- If you press shift while resizing with th mouse, the aspect ratio will be kept.
- If you go to the view menu you will be able to activate a grid
- You can resize with the keyboard arrow and modifiers keys:
. shift + arrow -> resize
. control + arrow move
. shift + control + arrow move by 10 pixels

Can V7 be installed alongside V6 without conflict (that you know about)? Yes, but keep in mind that double clicking on projects will launch them with the last version installed
Have there been changes to the encode or burn engines? Always
Does V7 still convert to MPEG2? Yes
Any changes to the filters? No

Thanks for your testing and feedback! A new beta has been posted.

@ jramos95
I'm sure you will understand that writing software requires previous planning. It appears that since nobody ever showed the need for having a diffwrent background for each title page, this option has not been implemented. There could be a time in the future that such option will be possible without upsetting anyting.
