Latest Version - Report Mandatory Update

Hi,
I have just downloaded and installed Media Player v:1.6.11.520, all went well until I started the program.
Every time I start the program I get the report "Mandatory Update" - fair enough I followed and "updated" the program.
On the next start - exactly the same report.
I have attached a jpg file to show the report.
Would appreciate your observations and advice.
