Hi Gamecrusader,

Yes, the settings have been changed from version 1 to version 2 for "no limit" setting as other users complained about the output being too small.

Nonetheless you can still get your old results by custom filesize in the output settings as Cedric has already mentioned to you

I'm looking to purchase Blu-ray Converter soon (or a gold member license) and have a couple of questions & suggestions for the v2 betas.

1. Are there known working NVIDIA driver versions for CUDA compatibility with the tool? I'm am running the current NVIDIA R295 notebook driver (v296.88 WHQL). Or do I need to use an older release like R285 (v285.62 WHQL) or even R280 (v280.26 WHQL)?

2. To prevent drive wear & tear, I typically rip my Blu-ray discs to protected images using SlySoft's AnyDVD-HD (v7.0.4.2-beta) "Rip to Image" and then usually mount the ISO with Elby's Virtual Clone Drive (v5.4.5.0). I saw some old posts regarding using VCD but didn't see any resolution. Are there any issues with this?

3. I want to make MKV files (H264 format + audio/sub remux) to fit onto 25GB BD-R's. Could you add a 25GB BD-R output size profile? Please take into account the UDF file system overhead.

Hi,

Thanks for your questions.

1) It works with the latest Nvidia drivers.

2) Virtual Drive Elby can cause problems for burning. Blu-ray Converter reads ISO images directly. This should not be a problem for you regarding the set up you describe.

3) version 2 has custom output size option (version 2 is on the forum as a beta)

And anyway we are here to help in case you have any questions or issues.

I was wondering if you could add it as a menu option? :D
Ex: BD-R[E] 25GB = It would limit the file size to even something conservative like 23,000 MB to account for the UDF file system overhead.

Also I noticed while converting a episodic Blu-ray to DVD (Tom & Jerry Golden Collection), it says "Frame rate: ## frames by second (Fps)". Shouldn't this be "Frame rate: ## frames per seconds (fps)"?

Hello,

You can set your custom output size in version 2, but it will probably not be added to the menu as you describe as I think it will add more confusion.

Files are automatically burnt using UDF if they are over something like 2GB.

About the FPS wording problem, is this in version 2, can you send a screenshot?

Thank you.

I'm still waiting for my gold member serial number. I couldn't even close the trial, program exception at offset when pressing the 'X' button top right.

Yes, it was v2.0.0.10 in trial mode. I loaned out my Tom & Jerry blu-rays to my sister...will have to wait probably a month until I can get it back.
Can't you simply search your code for the string "frames by second (Fps)"? It was more of a cosmetic issue.

But now I have a show stopper. Whenever I try to re-encode Batman Begins (VC-1) movie to MKV (H264 or MPEG4), the process crashes.
I have it ripped to a protected ISO and have AnyDVD-HD (latest v7.0.4.4) + Virtual Clone Drive (v5.4.5.0) running.

@Cedric

Can we please have m2ts as a container option?

I tried v2.10 for the 1st time. I get an error...

I guess it's the remux PGS subs? Selecting VOB, meant it worked (insofar that it didn't error). The output of 5.5gb on a video only remux means that the processing must have failled. When I got back to the PC, the following error message was multiple times on the screen.

You're right, CUDA has been disabled in this version...
Like we planned to add ATI optimizations too, we are working on hardware layer at this time.

CUDA will be back in next beta version (2.1.0.2)

Regards.

Hi, I'd like to request a key as well (I'm a gold member, too)...

BTW: is it known when DVD menu creation will be ready?

You need to send the email you purchased our software with.

Menus did work a version or two ago, now they seem not to be working, you can try
