do you know how to always reproduce where the output file does not play smooth?

Can you share the settings you use and the file you converted so we can reproduce and fix?
I uploaded video file - happiness for sale and player to your FTP

thanks Igor
unfortunately your log file seems to be missing some info that could help me.
can you tell me what video resolution you are converting to?

Do you know if the problem happens for you even if you convert this file by itself, without the hardware optimisations, and without 2 pass settting?

I'm converting to 1920x1080 with hardware optimisation, 2-pass, lanczos filter.
.........

Ok, i've downloaded again cx2hd and program looks full.
Here is a normal log, but bugs still present. Not smooth playing and conversion do not want to finish with 2-pass. But when 2-pass unchecked it's ok.

Can you write this info out again more clearly please?

The conversion does not finish when 2 pass is used?
Are also you saying that when 2 pass is not used the conversion playback is smooth?

Yes, Claire. The conversion does not want to finish with 2-pass(I think 2-pass just not working at all). But converted video not playing quite smooth anyway.

I have tried the alpha version on several occasions
and it works well.
My main concern is how to get a key to get rid of the watermark
Do I have to buy the Alpha or is there a key available?

If you look at the first post on this thread the link to buy the key is there.

Yes the buy link is on the 1st post of this thread. You are buying the "alpha" version and that gives you free updates for a year, during that time the official version will be released and of course you get that as part of the updates and your key will work with it.

Ok. I can confirm that without hardware encoding/decoding 2-pass start working properly. But conversion became extremely long.

I want to be sure I understand this.
This is only alpha version software but I have
to buy a key if I want to test it?
That seems a little presumptuous.
What guarantee do I have that it will work
properly.

Anyone can try it for free, no need to purchase anything. Just download and install the software and it will run. It will run in trial mode, meaning a watermark will be encoded on the final result.

It's your choice if you want to try and use something that has such limitations...

Conversion is extremely slow on latest nvidia drivers without hardware encoding(it's grayed)
And it can't finish

2-pass can not finish(completely not working) with hardware encoding. But without it's ok.

Yesterday to create and burn the blu-ray took a very long time upwards of 15 hours. I do not know where to find the log file as proof.

I am using windows 8.1 on an intel i7 processor with 4 gig memory. Video card is Nvidia Geforce GT220

Just try another software like nero, ashampoo or else.... Yet, it happens because of pioneer's firmware.

Looks like best video option not working because i've got equal fps with or without it. And CX2HD not fill whole 23gb format size it's filling only 8gb, tested on two mkv and xvid movies.
