I have only communicated what have been told to me by the management of VSO after asking permission to do so. We just have to wait.

Do they still happily accept payment when people attempt to make a purchase.... at least for those who unfortunately do so without READING THIS THREAD??? I guess that covers the cost of maintain their web presence?

Well, I think it's time to start looking for some alternatives to VSO SW (there are a few out there, some of them are not bad, some of them are not that good). Meanwhile I hope there is a SW House intending to purchase VSO... unless VSO is going to rise again.

I'm hoping that VSO will continue with ConvertX. Actually they are still updating the VSO Downloader untill last month.

I just downloaded this one last night and now its saying the trial is over and I haven't even used it yet

Your button for check on update (in dutch: controleer op update) does not work. After puching and waiting for 10 minutes, I puched the selection again and it shows the update square and below a message to wait for another hour for the next try. So I would say "Bullshit button"

The link for the latest beta (7.0.0.66) does not work.

I have opened an IMMEDIATE ACTION bug report for the broken link (or missing file)...

When VSO wakes up in the morning it should be available...

Go to sleep, tomorrow is another day and more time to play with v7.0.0.66

As Dictator mentioned, if v7.0.0.66 is pretty stable, VSO will start working on a 64bit version of the application(s) !
