I can't build a custom profile! Do I only have this problem?

This problem has been fixed, and the version is now the default version on our web site.

I can't reproduce your problem, what if you convert with an mkv profile that exists already such as MKV HD Ready 720p H264 does the conversion complete?

Is your error right at the beginning? Are you converting subtitles too?
What is the name of the movie?

Have you tried with CUDA disabled?
I checked your problem and it seems some Nvidia graphic cards are not able to encode a clean file with too high bitrate.
It's your case because you don't limit the output file size -> max bitrate is used (20Mb/s)

I've just published a new beta version (2.1.1.21) with bitrate limit added when using hardware encoding (CUDA):

If you have this problem with this new version, can you try with the profile I made for you (in attachment)?
Just uncompress the .xml file in "C:\Program Files (x86)\VSO\Blu-ray Converter Ultimate\2\custom_profiles" or "C:\Program Files\VSO\Blu-ray Converter Ultimate\2\custom_profiles" then start the program.

it works, when I disabled CUDA (with my own created and your made profile) - with CUDA it don't work.
When I choose the existing profiles with CUDA it works (that's what I don't understand)!

Beta Blu-ray converter 2.1.1.21 don't work (List Index out of Bounds).

I give up. :cry:

The version 2.1.21 don't work (for me).
I installed it and try to run (but didn't start).
I redownloaded 2.1.20 and it worked.

Same with me, still not working, also get "List Index out of Bounds.

There are two pending issues

- Missing localization editor icon in program group
Is not available in progfram group an icon too run the localization editor

- Custom Profile / profile names not translated
With italian language seelcetd, when you select "Custom profile" is not translated
Many prfoli name are not translated.

Please fix them asap.

Please change the localization editor icon name in "Traduci xxx" (where xxx is the program name). Now is "Tradurre xxx".

About Settings -> DVD menu template name I found a strange situation.
Some menu template names are in italian but I didn't find in the language. I want to edit one beacuse is too long.
Other DVD menu template are in english (like "Black mirror..") ad are not translated.
Could you add all template names in language to enable the translation?

Please propagate all this changes (localiziation editor icon name, custom profile name fix, etc) also to DVD converter.

it works perfect. I have only one question - when I use the same MKV custom settings in version 1.4.0.8 the data file is much bigger.
As a sample: the film "apocalypto" need (by using target size: custom size) with version 1.4.0.8 15903 mb and with with version 2.1.1.23 only 11210 mb.
Does that mean, that the quality is poorer when I use version 2.1.1.23?
If this is a fact, is it possible to raise the bitrate limit when using hardware encoding (CUDA)?

Please highlight that the official version is 2.1.1.24..

The last line (beta 2.1.24) in first post is not necessary now and can create misunderstanding (beta is not newer than official. Are equal).
