No Sound in Windows Media Center

I am using the trial version of Bly-ray to DVD converter. Ver 1.2.0.14

I created a DVD from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 1 Blu-ray

The DVD Disk plays correctly in VLC with sound

The disk plays in Windows Media Center - but NO sound. Other sounds from other output within Media Center itself in the same session are OK.
Commercial DVDs play correctly with sound.

I previously downgraded my Nvidia driver to 270.61 to allow the conversion to complete without error.

I expect that there is something I need to change to get the disk to process correctly for Media Center.

This is my test case - if this Blu-ray can be converted - I want to purchase - I WILL purchase - if this is a fixable issue.

Thank you

There is sound on disk if it plays with VLC.
Sound missing with WMP might simply be due missing AC-codec.

Hi,

I think your problem is with DTS HD Master audio from original Blu-ray.
Can you open DVD Video settings (in step 2, on right of profile selector) then select "Convert to AC3" on bottom list (Audio format settings)?

Blu-ray converter will convert the DTS HD Master as AC3, and your compatibility issue should be fixed...

PS : You can try with last beta version too : http://forums.vso-software.fr/vso-blu-r ... 12998.html

Thank you.

I did exactly that with my next (RIO) test - and I got sound.

I am re-running with the HP disk again with those changes.

I will post of success :D
