Please, can you do your tests by disabling DVD menu template (select "no menu" in advanced settings).
I will fix this bug on next week...

Apart from that new menu bug which seems to affect every conversion to DVD, also the behavior regarding Shrek 4 became worse in 1.2.1.8. While the conversion worked in 1.2.1.7 (only) if the DVD5 profile was selected, it now doesn't work at all any more:

Sorry, German settings, "Konvertiervorgang vom Benutzer abgebrochen" means "Conversion process has been aborted by user", which again isn't true. Maybe the log entries should be reworked a little...

It's maybe also worth to note that 1.2.1.7 tried to create a video stream with 5425 kb/s (or a multiplexed stream with about 6065 kb/s) which theoretically should have ended in about 4GB:

• 1h:33min = 5580 -> 5580 * (5425+448+192) [kbit/s] / (8*1024*1024) = 4.034 [GB]

So in 1.2.1.7, the aimed bitrate was already a little low, but the conversion ended with a much lower bitrate:

• 2.7 [GB] * 8*1024*1024 / 5580 = 4059 [kbit/s]

-> the multiplexed bitrate was only about 4 Mbit/s in the end, so the bitrate for the video stream was only 4059-448-192 = 3419kbit/s.

In 1.2.1.8 however, which was supposed to use the available space better, tried to create a stream with only 4466 kb/s (instead of 5425 kb/s). So if it wouldn't have crashed, it would have very likely ended with an even smaller output.

invalid pointer solved in 1.2.1.9: conversions to DVD now work. Shrek problem still needs to be corrected.
