I tried converting a 4GB blu-ray file (that I downloaded) through ConvertX to DVD5 before, and the quality was not good. I found out later, that it was a was a waste of time to use such files to convert to DVD, because the quality is not much better than a converted DVD rip file for example.
I guess my question is, does the VSO Blu Ray Converter change this?.. As an example, if I downloaded a BDrip or a Blu-Ray x264 file (Less than 4GB) and converted and burned to DVD5, is the result much better than converting a (1.2GB) DVDrip file?

Re: Converting Blu-Ray Files
If your source files are in BR resolution (1920x1080) then they will almost always look better converted to BR.
Converting to DVD resolution (720x576PAL/480NTSC) loses a lot of detail.
