Video Formats Supported

Hi
One of the things (of many) is trying to convert Humax HD TS files to another HD format. Due to the audio format, AAC I think.
I could use ConvertXtoDVD4/5m but that would reduce the Video down to SD.
Will the new converter be able to Load in HD TS files with AAC and convert to something else HD ?
regards
Douglas

Hello Douglas,
If you can load your HD files in ConvertXtoDVD, VSO Video converter will be able to load them too...
Output profiles of VSO Video Converter will include a lot of HD formats (like formats available in VSO Blu-ray & DVD converters).

I would appreciate if the HTML5 video formats were supported as output.

Can this program create DVDs just like CXD?

It has that option but with less flexibility than ConvertX. However, it is presently so slow on my computer that it isn't realistic for me to use unless changes are made.

Hello ckhouston,
I done some comparative tests between ConvertXtoDVD and Video Converter (DVD video profile), and I get same encoding framerate/encoding time
What you mean by "it is presently so slow on my computer that it isn't realistic for me to use it"?

The images are for a Vista q6600 computer. Same settings for both programs including no video board usage.
Framerate starts at 30 for both Convert X and Video Converter but goes up for Convert X and goes down for Video Converter. Time left when Video Converter reaches 3% increases to 5:44.

May be you use (I hope) a previous version where this bug was not yet fixed:
- 0006716: [Bug] DVD output format doesn't work (it start but take 4 hours to convert 10 min of video...) (cedric) - resolved.

That is it Cedric, sorry I was using 1.0.0.13. Didn't notice that 1.0.0.14 fixed the issue, will download it and get back if it is still slow.
Thanks.

Yes the old version was my problem. 1.0.0.14 is actually faster than CX2D 5, good job.

Now that the speed has been addressed, looks like a very promising program. My question is if there is a chance MOV format will be included? Have been ask if MOV files could be created to allow for home videos to be easier uploaded to social media sites.
As always thanks for all you do and I consider my VSO purchases some of the best I have made.
