I just purchased the VSO Downloader Ultimate key but cannot get downloads working from UK TV station Channel 4 with their 4oD service. It's frustrating as the adverts are downloaded OK & it looks like the encrypted file (>500MB) is downloaded 100% with hundreds of fragments but then something goes wrong & it ends up with "Download complete with error.."

I cannot post the links properly as I get this message in the forum "Your account does not have permission to post links or domain/page references." so I have munged them enough that the forum software doesn't complain

Have you tried doing what is suggested in the log: "add the host of the server in the secure stream list."?

That site is most likely UK only, does not accept connections from anywhere else.

That channel is same as all BBC channels. Access to video only from UK.
I can use proxy to get the video, but downloader might get problems because of proxy.

even with a proxy I still get a problem about registration

It's channel4.COM I typed in xxx because I am not able to post the proper URL because of the forum software.

Any update on this? I last posted ten days ago.
