Why I can not choose the codec Divx to DVD Converter 3.2?

Hello. I'm trying DVD converter and I have successfully installed my Divx codec. When I go to rip a dvd only shows me the option Xvid. Why can not I choose Divx? When ripping the DVD in Xvid in home dvd player can not play. Thank

why do you want the divx format instead of xvid?

because Xvid does not play the dvd-player of my home and yes it played Divx

Hello Darkbeat,

DVD Converter uses its own internal codecs. External codecs, such as the one you're talking about, do not in any way affect the program nor can they be utilized by it.

FYI in the latest beta version you can choose Divx now in the custom profile editor
