DTS-HD MA 7.1 converts into AC3 Stereo

Hi,
I've just ripped "The Hobbit 2" from BR which has DTS-HD MA 7.1.
I'm using the following profile
---- Output container informations ----
* Name: M2TS (Blu-ray)
* File extension: m2ts
---- VIDEO track informations ----
Video stream will be encoded using these settings:
* codec: mpeg2video
* framerate: Same as source (if compatible)
* width: Same as source (if compatible)
* height: Same as source (if compatible)
* aspect ratio: Same as source (if compatible)
---- AUDIO tracks informations ----
Audio streams will be encoded using these settings:
* codec: ac3
* channel count: Same as source (if compatible)
* samplerate: Same as source (if compatible)Hz
---- SUBTITLE tracks informations ----
Subtitle streams will be encoded using these settings:
* Embed in video stream
=================
and finally I get
Audio
ID : 4352 (0x1100)
Menu ID : 1 (0x1)
Format : AC-3
Format/Info : Audio Coding 3
Mode extension : CM (complete main)
Format settings, Endianness : Big
Codec ID : 129
Duration : 2h 41mn
Bit rate mode : Constant
Bit rate : 512 Kbps
Channel(s) : 2 channels
Channel positions : Front: L R
Sampling rate : 48.0 KHz
Bit depth : 16 bits
Compression mode : Lossy
Delay relative to video : -42ms
Stream size : 591 MiB (4%)
Language : German
It sounds really horrible on the TV.
I'm not an expert but isn't it possible that VSO converter uses the next lower format ... DTS HD MA 7.1 into AC3 5.1 (6 channels), when I'm right?
Update:
I've selected copy (remux) in the profile:
---- AUDIO tracks informations ----
If possible, audio streams will be copied (remuxed).
Otherwise, they will be encoded using these settings:
* codec: ac3
* channel count: Same as source (if compatible)
* samplerate: Same as source (if compatible)Hz
and now it will be converted into AC3 6 channels?

How that?
When it is not possible to copy then 6 channels will be used.
When I explicity use AC-3 (copy/remux not selected) ?, I only get 2 channels?
Is this correct or is it only too late for me tonight? ;-)
Thanks!
