Today I tried to stream from the Internet Archive site via this URL (not allowed by VSO to mention), with an audio stream within the page. Starting the stream on the site, possible both with Flash and HTML5, did not result in a VSO Downloader download of this audio stream.
But, after having downloaded to my computer the audio stream file, named [generated M3U] on the Internet Archive site, and with this accompanying URL (not allowed by VSO to mention) and having started this file with my media player, which is VLC media player btw, it resulted in a VSO Downloader download of this audio stream indeed. The resulting download was an mp3-file, as was expected.
Now this is what I wonder: what is the use of this? I already had the m3u-file on my computer now, and hence was capable of downloading it via my media player. Thus it was streamed twice: via VSO Downloader and via VLC media player. Okay, admitted, streaming it via my media player will not result in a downloaded mp3-file (as far as I know).
So, while the audio stream was obviously on this Internet Archive page, then why could it not be downloaded by VSO Downloader at once and had it to be done in this two-step way?

PS: I see the title of the page that I want to post in, is called "ConvertXtoVideo (aka Video Converter)". If my topic is posted there, I cannot help that. I just was searching for the New Topic button on the overall Forum page, but could not find it. So, I had to open an existing topic for finding the New Topic button.
PS 2: And why may I not post links or domain/page references?? I only tried to do this to make things clear, not for spamming or the like!! Hopefully the crippled text will be clear then! If this is what VSO wants!

Who told you not to post the URL, or is it the forum board that is blocking the url?

VSO Downloader should not "download" for detect files you are playing in a video player on your computer. It downloads streams played or detected in web browsers...
