Hi all.
First, DVD Converter is first (almost) good working software which is able to convert DVD ISO image to AVI.
My problem is, that I have a lot of DVD movies for children stored on HDD inside my multimedia player (hardware solution). All these moves are in ISO format. I have created them by years, from my own DVD's, for protecting disks from children and making acces to videos as easy as possible. These ISO-movies have usually only 2 audio tracks (english + polish), 2 sublitles and no any initial menu. Just starts from "play".
Currently I buyed big NAS server for all home multimedia. Server is able to deliver multimedia data by upnp to all possible players at home (for example to smart TV). BUT ISO format does not work in this solution. Only typical multimedia formats, like AVI.
So, I decided to convert all my ISO's to AVI. Like I said, DVD Converter can meke this and video quality is good.
And now - my problem.
When ISO is opened in DVD Converter, I can't select audio track like target, for convert process to AVI. Only english audio is visible for DVD Converter. In "advanced options" of the file, I see all subtitle track (properly) but only one audio language (not properly). I'm not mad, my hardware multimedia player can select audio like i want. The same VLC media player can do this with no problem.
I have checked conversion in tral version of DVD Converter (before I'll buy the software) with 10 minutes samples, and with every ISO file problem is the same - only english audio.
I think, this is an error.
Do I right?
I have checked AnyVideoConverter software and this soft is able to select audio track and make proper AVI. But quality of video is not aceptable for me (no support 25fps -> not fluent video). But this shows, that extracting another than 1st audio track for conversion from ISO is possible

First check if that NAS can play DVD format, if it can then you can simply copy everything inside each ISO to a folder and play from that folder.

Unfortunelly not. My NAS (RAID Lenovo ix4-300s) is not reading ISO files like multimedia and delivery of them by uPnP does not work
Another my NAS, based on Realtek chipset (stand alone multimedia player) can playback ISO, and these files (located on internal HD) are visible in uPnP network. But this device need read ISO from ethernet, not to deliver.
You mean, I should extract ISO to complex DVD format and then try?

Try this; you have ISO called "my iso".
Mount it in Daemon Tools or any other program that can read properly from ISO. Then copy Video_ts (and Audio_ts if there is) folder to new folder named "my_iso".
Result should be folder named my_iso that contains at least video_ts folder, and in video_ts folder there should be lot of vob,bup and ifo files.
Then, program you use to play DVD, use it to browse to that my_iso folder. Most programs can detect video_ts folder and open it as DVD. Some programs can't, and with them you need to open video_ts folder, and select VIDEO_TS.IFO.
That should then start DVD playback properly with menus etc.

I extracted ISO by simple winrar. No problem. But result was not read like simple movie. All movies (VOB) were possible to read separatety.
I found solution. I'm DOS generation user so I just made binary sum of all VOB files (copy /b source1 +...+ sourceN destination). Result -> simple VOB. Works great, with no any crash at the borders

This is something what can be helpful in future, in emergency situation. For now I have another solution - faster (better) because with no any extra work.
In my ix4, in protocol setup window, is small magic switch which enables proper work of windows-based acces to the files. This most popular protocol was not working properly before because of this stupis switch not selected. Of course no any word in Lenovo manual... I tried this (because why not) and - eureka! - I have access to NAS's HDD beyond DLNA. With proper acces rules settings, of course. And this enables to read ISO directly from NAS, by network player.
Video transfer -> solved.
Interesting is, that I have acces ONLY to all video formats using windows protocol. No any pictures and audio are not visible by player. But this seems to be a player software bug.

Yes, they should be possible as they are separate files. DVD has size limit on VOB, that is why they are in parts. Still, you need to select that VIDEO_TS.IFO and playback will be as from normal DVD.

If it works with your system, great!
Simple filejoining can be done but result will not be good, timestamps are a mess and filesize is way over DVD limits. In most players that will not work properly and those files can not be converted.

If your ISO source file really have 2 audio tracks but DVD Converter detect only one, yes there's maybe a bug...

Is your NAS able to play mkv files? If yes, maybe MKV remux profile will be better for you (no reencoding, fastest)
