remaining titlesets"? i clicked the 2 pass option and now it is just staying there doing nothing, but giving me that message. i tried to cancel also and it isn't canceling. Thanks for your help!

That is normal behavior with 2-pass.
First is checking the video, then second calculates optimal bitstream.

If you want to use 2-pass, just wait. Most users do not see any difference without it...

i waited for an hour and it did nothing, so i canceled it. it just sat there at 50% with the same message. i had both two pass encoding and use best video quality settings checked so i unchecked use best video quality settings and it worked. is there a reason why i can't do both?

It works, second pass with best video quality might take several hours with some systems. There is no progress indicator so you just need to wait.
