When converting a video it adds the date stamp, which is not visible before conversion

Hello,

Is this a feature you want?

Currently our software does not add any such things to the video.

Hello Keith,

Did you posted the conversion result or your original file on YouTube?

ConvertXtoVideo never add a timestamp watermark, but your camcorder can add a subtitle track with this type of timestamp.
Can you check if a subtitle track is selected before starting the conversion?

Regards,

I would prefer the choice

This is a video using the same camera and settings, without using the converter there is no timestamp

The converter is very useful for youtube etc as it reduces the file size considerably

Just converted a video from a different camera and no timestamp was added so maybe it is the other camera settings?

Please reload your original file : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85-wN3WRcHo then unselect any subtitle track then start the conversion...
