Can get rid of subtitles...

Hi all-

Converting a DVD to mp4. All is wel lexcept I can't get rid of the subtitles after conversion.

Box is unchecked in Convert X and display subtitles (VLC) is unchecked. No luck.

Any ideas?

If you don't want subtitles at all, delete them from the source folder or rename them to a file that doesn't match the video file name. ConvertXtoVideo adheres to codec standards for standard compliant output. The only way the MP4 container standard allows for subtitles is HARDCODED into the the video. There's no way around that, if you want subtitles that can be toggled on/off you will need to choose a different container.
