VSO Downloader doens't work on website

My paid version of VSO Downloader including the latest version that I upgraded to, doesn't work on two Korean drama websites that I frequent. Instead I have to download using the free Firefox addon "Download Flash and Video" which works amazingly well. Just disappointed that VSO that I paid for fails where the free firefox extension works so well. Can someone throw a light on why this is so?
