Hello, I'm using VSO player ever since Gom went from freeware to adware and now malware, I really like it, here are a few suggestions how to make VSO even better, some very easy to implement some not so much:
-Include keyboard shortcuts list (help file) with player
-add return to beginning (play from beginning) button and keyboard shortcut
-add bookmarking (add chapter) feature
-add keyboard shortcuts editing
-make full screen shortcut a single key
-add keyboard shortcuts for quickly switching audio and subtitle streams
-remember previously selected audio and subtitle streams for specific folders
-remember last played file in playlist after reopening it
-add auto sorting option for playlists
-seek to closest keyframe and don't start buffering immediately after time skip, to allow for faster skipping further ahead
-add s/pdif pass-thru (very useful if PC is connected to av receiver)
-add audio visualizations and track info display in main window when playing audio files
-add deinterlacing filter options
-add noise, and voice filters for audio
-add blu ray and dvd menus support

Most of the things I listed probably won't be addressed, but I would appreciate a few smaller tweaks.

Do you know in the menu you have the option to "show stream info" this is not what you are thinking of?
Can you be more specific?

Otherwise I've officialized all your requests. Some which may be added quickly and easily and other not so, like "add blu ray and dvd menus support" will not be added soon if ever and "add s/pdif pass-thru (very useful if PC is connected to av receiver)"

Audio visualizations like audio spectrum analyzer, etc.

When selecting multiple files (ctrl+left click) player adds files to playlist in order they where selected, instead of alphabetically sorting them.

Thanks, it's great, apart from having to manually switch subtitle/audio streams between episodes when binge watching episodic content if I want to watch it in non preferred language, but other than that is great.

are you saying there should be some setting to always remember last selected audio and subtitles streams, so that when next file is played the desired audio and subtitles streams are pre-selected?
