Hi all, love CXD and use it for many projects. Also, the support team and users
are very helpful when it comes to advice.
Forgive me if this has been asked and answered previously.
I downloaded a relatively long file (2+ hours). The original video (AVI) appears to
have excellent quality (I think it's 1080) and it plays very nicely on my computer.
I "split" it into two sections (about 1 hour 15 minutes each) and burn the first
section to a DVD. I use the Short Project Encoding option and check both the
"Use best video quality..." and "Two pass encoding" boxes.
When I play the DVD both on the computer and on a DVD player, the motion
is steady but seems a little bit "jerky." It's as though a frame or two is being
dropped every half second or so.
Has anyone use had this situation? Is there a setting or settings I need to try?
Thanks for any help.

Also what media player are you using on your computer?
Thanks!

Re: Slight Jerky Motion after Burning DVD
Sorry for the confusion. I tried burning a regular (non-HD) video and got a similar
result. I think I have a bad disc or an old DVD burner. I will try again with a new disc
and new burner see what happens.
