ConvertXtoHD has a warning on the video encoding page (see attached). It notes that some frame rates are not compatible. This warning has never been accurate.
25p is permitted under the bluray standard at 1920 or 1440 x 1080, 50p is permitted at 1280x720 and 60p is also permitted at 1280x720.
With so many recorders offering these resolutions, it makes sense to update this warning to something like "Permit non-standard frame rates and resolutions (less compatible)" to avoid confusion to less knowledgeable users that have camcorders that offer the above mentioned OK recording settings.
