Hello

Just added several video shorts approx 2mins each to a compilation....then decided to add a track which is a compilation of all the other 2min tracks..

So,have 20 x 2min tracks plus a 20track compilation.....vocals media player and windows correctly reports this as 40 mins.....however when I add this track to my compilation it displays that it is almost 400 mins i assume CXtoDVD is misreporting the video length

Any ideas please

Thanks

UPDATE here is the info from media info

this clearly shows the video length, but Convertx2dvd misreports it as 400 minutes or so and aborts video creation out of memory

What you see in the image above is the result of a timestamp analysis of 3 files
  1. Top -> Normal file
  2. Middle -> A file that even if it has timestamps errors can be handled
  3. Bottom -> Your file... Well... It's a bit of a mess, VLC can't play it whole and when it plays audio is out of sync
TLDR: Your file is corrupted beyond hope

Hello
Thank you for your time, the individual files are fine..have been burnt to a dvd with CX7 bit I joined them all with a commercial program, which reported no errors....I don’t think CX7 can join files in this way, maybe a feature request...add files then merge or join as an option..

Don’t know why it’s corrupt, bloc and media info reported it as ok @58 mins I believe

Media info only parses the header which indeed tells that the file is 58 minutes long, the image I attached is that of frame by frame parsing. Just try playing the file on VLC until the end.
