DCU4.0.0.70 creates pixelated MP4s

I am testing DVD Converter Ultimate 4.0.0.70 before I buy it. I'm already a long-time and happy Blu-ray Converter Ultimate user.

I'm testing DCU4 by converting a "Moana" DVD with a main feature and 8 bonus videos to an Apple iPad output format.

When I select the main title and all bonuses at once, the feature converts properly, but a few of the bonus files do not convert the video properly. Audio sounds good but video is garbled.

However, if I convert a single bonus video at a time, it converts properly even though it was garbled when it converted in a group of selected bonus files.

Any explanation for why this is happening?
