DELETE PROJECTS FROM "LOAD PROJECT"

Good day. sometimes, i set up my video conversions, and them them as the project,to convert at a later time and date , so my wife may use the laptop. After the project is completed, i either delete the original files, or move them to an external drive.
There is , on the main menu, no delete function for completed projects. I did a search thru WINDOWS and found some. delete them. Still showed in the LOAD PROJECT. was told to go to OUTPUT FOLDER and DELETE my files. I moved them , and renamed them. STill showed the PROJECT.
Finally, opened up REGEDIT, and did a search for VCPRJ . It found bunches of them. I did not delete the binary, but just all the project portions of the registry .
That all removed the LOAD PROJECT from the software. ( i think it was clearing the registry).
Ok. Is there an easier way to REMOVE the PROJECT from the LOAD PROJECT ? There is NO delete SAVED PROJECT feature at all in the menu, from what i see.
