WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR

7.0.0.64 has crashed my computer 40 times. Have not had a successful conversion since 7.0.0.64 was installed. My computer only crashes when I run ConvertxtoDVD.

And - if you get BSOD with "WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR" then you have a hardware issue.
You can google for that error and you will find multiple possible fixes.

My pooter only does this crash when I am running Convertx. Never crashed any other time.

This has not been reported here. Perhaps you should try a later version and see what happens.
It is difficult to get help for this problem. VSO are on very minimum staff.

That is just what I said, BSOD.
Most BSODs are related to hardware, and WHEA error is almost always hardware, CPU or RAM.

This happens with CxDVD because it is using a lot of RAM and CPU causing this crash. If it happens at variable points then it means that system has problems.
If it would be software then it would always crash at same point.

JJ, This is also my opinion. You are correct. I asked him to try a past version, just to confirm

I tried 7.0.0.56 and it does it also. My way around it now is to only convert one title at a time when doing multiple titles for a tv series. One title seems to work ok. As I said I wat you tube and do multiple things at once and it never crashes, only convert. It just started with 7.0.0.64. Maybe I will get a stronger COU and see if that works because I have losts of RAM. For now I have a way around the issue.

Did you check your RAM - memtest or similar for few hours?
If you get even one error then that RAM is bad.

If you have 2 sticks of RAM or more. Try one at at time.
It is a good idea to have your RAM over more than just one stick.
