Crashes with a .wmv

ConverttoVideo Ver 2.0.0.93 crashes when trying to convert a 1.5GB .wmv (a screen capture of a PPT slideshow) to MP4 or MPG. May not be specific to this version. No problen playing it in WMP (of course) and no problem editing it in VideoRedo TVS Ver 5.0.
NO PROBLEMS with vso_convertxtodvd_setup_7.0.0.64b converting to NTFS DVD. I then created an ISO of the DVD folder as I usually doI then opened the iso in ConverttoVideo and successfully converted that to MP4. I also tried MPG and it failed.
