RX 2070 and BR output

I have upgraded my system, and now have a Nvidia RX 2070, along with a Ryzen 2700 and 32G of memory. When I create a full BR, it is only 13-15G in size. I had a problem before, where the new NVidia drivers put no video output in the built images, so I downgraded my drivers to a version from Nov. That got me from no video to some, but the size of the folder is still smaller than it used to be. Is anyone else using a latest generation Nvidia card, and are they experiencing anything like this?

Adding: I have seen some comments in other threads about constant vs variable framerate. I may experiment with that. Maybe these discs are okay, but just emptier because they're using a variable frame or bitrate.
