What the manual is missing

Greetings,

Using ConvertXToDVD 7 on PC running Windows 10 with built-in ASUS disc burner to produce the DVDs.
Looking for detailed explanation (definitions and implications of choosing) for the following sections of "Default Settings:"

1. Output/Encoding/Encoding Options & Conversion Processes
2. Output/Video Processing - all sections
3. Output/Hardware Optimizations - all sections.


I am aware you can mouse hover over fields and get a pop-up explanation. But they are general, not detailed descriptors.
Two examples: show me one place where it tells me the difference, and implications of choosing, between the various
deinterlacing choices or the difference in using, or not using, hardware optimization.
