Hi VSO team !
What do you think about making a brand new software - ConvertXtoUHD ? This software is similar to ConvertXtoHD, but it can make 4K Bluray disc movie. At present, 4K TVs are very popular. So, I think many users hope this new software so much !
Did you have any plan about it ?
(on market, there is only a software can make 4K BLURAY disc movie at present. That is DVDfab UHD Creator, but this software is terrible, in my opinion ! )

We'll be very soon working on 4k, x265HEVC, UHD, better colour depth... It's our top-priority!

Yes, HDR is also in our projects yet to come!
For now, I am sorry but I cannot give you a date, but I'll keep you informed.

What's the progress? Is it going to be released this year or what? Y'all are really making it easy for me to consider DVDFab UHD Creator. I like VSO because of the menu customization, DVDFab doesn't have this!

We are working on it!
As you may know we planned the release for May at first.
Due to various difficulties and the Covid-crisis it has been delayed.
Things should go back to normal soon and I'll let you guys know what's the current estimation.

I have been waiting for ConvertXtoUHD everyday.
I know it will not be released soon, but I am never uncomfortable about that, because I think this software deserves for users to wait, and because I always believe in your team. The truth proves that you always give us the greatest softwares on the market!

Hi, I am just about to move into the Blu-ray world, plan to get a Blu-ray burner for my PC, blank disk prices have fallen a lot, 50-80p for a vertabin 25GB disk....but then thought, should I try and get a 4K writer ? Have you looked at this ..? As you discuss a VSO CXtoUHD App.....very difficult finding out what products do, so ma y mention writer then add UHD, but it only reads UHD....

Ultra HD Bluray is only a format. I think we totally can use the BD-25 and BD-50 discs (which are used by Convertxtohd) to burn. This is the matter about the physical property of blank Bluray disc, not about the format of Bluray movies. All Blu-ray writers can burn these discs. And all 4K Bluray home players can read movies which are burnt on these discs, too.

Agree and accept all you say....think my main point was sourcing a good Internal Blu-ray burner for a PC, possibly with 4K functionality....just find it difficult sifting through all the descriptions. But may well settle on a Blu-ray HD burner, as disks are rather cheap now. Be easy to fit 4 ( DVD ) movies on a 25GB Blu-ray......

I'm using the LG WH16NS60. It's an amazing 4K Bluray burner! Actually, you don't even need a 4K blu-ray burner to burn blu-rays, the LG WH16NS40 will do just fine.

I sure hope ConvertXtoUHD or whatever it will be called will be released this Holiday season. That would be an amazing gift!

By now we're @april of 2021 (more than half a year later) and I'm wondering if you're still working on "ConvertXtoUHD"?
Maybe you can already tell us an approx. release date?

VSO are working real hard on VSO Downloader v6 (64 bits).
This is the next software to come out.

VSO told me after that, each their turn will be looked into, but I figure in late 2021 or 2022.

Let’s see if VSO tells us otherwise here...

You are right, we are focused on Downloader for now, and we should release the alpha version at the end of the month.

Next, we will work on VSO Media Player and then the ConvertX suite.

I cannot give you an approx date release for now ...
