I just burned an 8 episode DVD. The menu comes up, but you can not tell what is being selected. There is no type of contrast difference between selections. What am I doing wrong???

Are you using a tabletop DVD player or software player ?

It is a table-top dvd player

Could you try a clean/fresh install of our last beta version:

Please check all three cleaning options. (see attached screenshot)

Just read this post with interest.....

Is there a setting that determines how selected episodes look when highlighted ?

Sometimes the difference is very subtle and hard to determine.....maybe a set of options to determine the highlighted look, inverse, border outline, different colour etc etc

Not for now. We have the project to redesign the menu editor completely too.
For the moment, it stays perfectible.

Some episode titles change a lot when selected, others so subtle that it’s hard to tell if they are selected or not

Maybe introduce a small arrow next to the selected episode or a Chevron each side....

Just a thought
