The entire subtitle support is not yet perfect: In case of plaintext subtitle overlap (so if the next subtitle start exactly at the previous subtitle end, or a few milliseconds before), the encoder may produce a subtitle that will play correctly on PC and most standalone players, but may not play correctly on other (the older subtitle is re-displayed in degraded quality). This issue occurs only with plaintext subtitles as source, when subtitles overlap or are chained without delay, on older standalone blu-ray player - recent one doesn't seem to suffer from that. So it's a pretty rare issue. To solve it, a pretty big rewrite of the encoder is required. However, because it's rare and to avoid further delay on the much awaited subtitle improvement, we are releasing what we have done as of today.

When will an official version be released ? It has been too long since version 3.0.0.64

This one will become an official release when we can see it's clean enough since it will be the last 32bits version.
After a while without negative feedback/bug reporting/ etc.... from our users, we'll release it!

“It will be the last 32 bit version" ---> wow, I can't wait to be one of the first users who will use the first 64 bit version. I hope it will be released soon !

Coral is right about this.
Work is just getting started. We do not know the difficulties we will face and how long it might take to overcome them.
The only thing I can say is: the first project will be ConvertXtoHD 64bit. So, it will be the first one to be over.
You'll be informed the whole process. Thank you so much for your patience.

We have a saying that says: impossible things are dealt with immediately, miracles take a little longer.

New beta version released!

I downloaded the file and had to override windows security (in win10) to save the file, win security saw file as a possible threat.

After installing and running program, the app threw up error message "a critical folder cannot be accessed....." and to click ok and the program then terminates. In windows 10 security had to "allow an app through controlled folder access" to run the program successfully.
This is the only app I have ever had to do this for.

For info and review in case there is an issue with the vso app v/s windows 10 security app.
There was no issue with convertxtodvd, only with convertxto hd 3

and the briefly mentioned convertXtoUHD?
