Problem with audio start in menu still there in all its glory
Audio always begin from the beginning of the file.
Does not exist in version 7.0.0.61

Confirming bug reported by Coral, the menu audio does NOT align with the video selection, in fact...it can't be changed at all.

Menu editor was completely designed by Felicia, it is complex for Jacques to take over this part.
He is not familiar with the code. It demands too much time, and we will only do shorty corrections until 64bit.

Yes I know it is very complex. Felicia and I spent months exchanging email with ideas.

Interesting - Why does it say: Trial period without limitation. In addition I just now remembered that it hasn't asked for my 'key', although I usually copy the key in advance before I open the program so that I will be ready for it.

Also, find attached my latest log of a movie I just made.

Eddie, You need to have your internet on for the application to update and remove trial.
If you don't manage, let me know.

Hopefully issue is resolved. Normally I install program and program 'detects' my license key that I have copied to clipboard and I'm good to go. Have learned in the past that 'vpn' can not be "on" when doing this, so vpn is not installed until key is accepted. Anyway, I uninstalled vpn and uninstalled v68, installed v69 and still issue remained. Your post about "internet" being on, my Internet is always on by the way, led me to look at that "Help/Tools" again, and there was the "Enter License Key", clicked that, now program 'saw' by license key in clipboard, accepted that and hopefully I'm good. I'm going to assume that "something in that area" changed. Anyway now that I know that I should be good. -- "About" now shows registered version.

v7.0.0.69 says my key is TOO OLD. OLD???

I purchased v7.0.0.59, upgraded to v7.0.0.64 with no problem. I installed v7.0.0.69 tonight, I enter the key and the program goes online to verify it and says my key is TOO OLD!!! WTF??? From v7.0.0.59 to v7.0.0.69 is NOT old!!! I could understand going from v6 to v7 getting a new key, but getting an OLD message from MINOR UPDATES in this program is NOT old!!!

I will just go back to v7.0.0.64 and say "screw you v7.0.0.69 !!!"

I am not paying another fee for such a minor update. Unless the fee is equal to the update, so do I send you my nickel and we call it even?

Try and do a clean uninstallation of the application. Keep your internet on and install the latest version.

I did a CLEAN install and v7.0.0.69 STILL says my key is TOO OLD.

This is what I did:
I uninstalled v7.0.0.64, which likes my key. BTW, v7.0.0.68 gives me the SAME error as v7.0.0.69 saying my key is TOO OLD. I know your FTP site and downloaded an older version to see where your problem arises, and its v7.0.0.68. (the last 3 versions on your ftp site are 7.0.0.69, 7.0.0.68 and 7.0.0.64) After I uninstalled v7.0.0.64, I installed v7.0.0.69 and chose ALL the options to clean out older/previous version info. I have enclosed a screen capture of this. After program is installed AND I am connected to the net, I enter my VALID key, and v7.0.0.69 STILL says my key is TOO OLD!!!

So I now use your CleanVSO program, which removes ALL VSO software. When I run this program, it sees v4.1.19.365c, which I still HAVE TO USE because the NEWER versions of ConvertXtoDVD do NOT see DTS audio tracks. See this link viewtopic.php?t=20009 on why VSO REMOVED this feature and CRIPPLED newer versions.

For some reason, CleanVSO does NOT show v7 as being installed. hmmm, that's odd. I run it anyway to see if it removes v4 and v7 I have installed, knowing that VSO software is flaky and buggy. I check and the program groups AND folders on my hard drive are indeed removed. wow. It actually worked. Almost.

I reboot Windows (FYI: I'm using Win7 Ultimate 64 bit) I run CCleaner Pro (registered version) and it removes a few leftover temp files and registry keys that CleanVSO did NOT remove. I reboot Windows again. I run CleanVSO again and it doesn't see ANY VSO software. I then install v7.0.0.69, using the SAME CLEANING options as before, connected to the net, using my VALID product key and...........it says my key is TOO OLD again!!! WTF!!!???? v7.0.0.69 is obviously crap and buggy, I uninstall it, install v7.0.0.64 which sees my VALID key as good.

Maybe when v7.0.0.70 comes out in the next 5 years VSO will fix this BUG and MAYBE put BACK the feature where the program will see DTS audio tracks.

p.s.
And WHEN is VSO going to MAKE a users guide for v7? v6 which is similar but different is dated Feb 2016, which is ALMOST 4 YEARS OLD! And stop telling me you have a "skeleton crew", that excuse was old YEARS AGO. Replace the skeletons with LIVE people and get things FIXED and UPDATED.

Your key is too old for v 7.0.0.69.
Either go back to one of the two versions I gave you before, or renew for another year, or purchase a lifetime license with lifetime updates so your key will never be too old again!

Ok Maggie, so I have to pay full price for a NEW license to go from v7.0.0.64 to v7.0.0.69 ???? No FRAKKIN WAY!!!

That NEW license price should be commensurate to the version advancements, in this case I think a NICKEL is what its worth to go from v7.0.0.64 to v7.0.0.69. And even then, I think I should get some change back. Especially since v7 is CRIPPLED and it does NOT see DTS audio tracks in files, but v4 will. AND, NO manual for v7 either. Is that VSO's policy, to charge customers more for getting less???
